Ryan Haskey has dedicated 30 years of his career to CEL Electrical Contractors. He started as an Apprentice and worked his way up to become a Journeyman, demonstrating exceptional passion and skills along the way. Ryan has held various significant positions in the company, such as Superintendent, Estimator, Project Manager, and General Manager. Ryan thrives on tackling challenging projects and takes great pride in his remarkable team’s accomplishments.

When he’s off the clock, Ryan gets his adrenaline pumping on the ski slopes and mountain bike trails, and volunteers with the Kidney Foundation of Canada.

Born and raised in Calgary, Wes brings more than 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, and strategic leadership to CEL. Throughout his career, Wes has successfully led financial transformations, mergers and acquisitions, and multi-entity operations, earning a reputation as a trusted advisor and collaborative leader.

Passionate about building strong teams and finding practical solutions to complex challenges, he enjoys helping organizations grow while creating value for employees, customers, and stakeholders alike. As CFO, Wes plays a key role in supporting the company’s growth, financial strength, and long-term vision.

Outside of work, Wes enjoys baking artisan bread and making homemade jams and jellies. He is actively involved in his children’s sports and extracurricular activities and enjoys being part of the Calgary community he has always called home.

Ramya has gained experience in a variety of industries such as oil and gas, construction, investment banking, and retail throughout her 15-year career in Asia and Europe. She specializes in financial accounting, reporting, and analysis. Additionally, she holds a double Master’s degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance. Recently, she has relocated to Canada.

Ernest Martens embarked on his journey with CEL Electrical Contractors in 2019, diving into the realm of Industrial Electrical Construction in Winnipeg, Manitoba. With an extensive background as a Journeyman Electrician, his expertise expanded into Estimating, Project Management, and Regional Management roles. Ernest’s commitment to client satisfaction and project excellence spans projects of all scales, shaping his current role as VP of Strategic Growth at CEL.

Beyond the confines of work, Ernest finds solace in the great outdoors. Sailing with his family on Lake Winnipeg and traversing the landscapes of North America fuel his passion for adventure and exploration.

Chad brings over 23 years of experience in the electrical industry, along with a strong commitment to quality workmanship and client-focused service. His extensive industry knowledge, hands-on expertise, and dedication to excellence make him a valuable addition to the CEL team.

With decades of experience, Chad strengthens our ability to deliver dependable, high-quality solutions while supporting the continued growth of our company.

Outside of work, he enjoys travelling on road trips and restoring classic trucks.

Jen Hayworth started her journey with CEL in 2007 as an apprentice electrician. She worked on various commercial and maintenance projects in Alberta, completing her Red Seal Journeyman’s ticket. Through Jen’s years with CEL she has filled numerous roles including Journeyman, Service Manager, Project Manager, and now Branch Manager in CEL Camrose.

Outside of work, Jen loves tackling projects with her husband on their acreage, gardening, camping, and mountain biking.
